WHY IS BIM IMPORTANT TO YOU?
I believe that we can do so much better in the construction industry. In terms of quality for the end user as well as in collaborating and creating value from start to finish. BIM plays an important role in making that transition happen.
Because of the fragmentation in the industry, having a central source of truth that provides tailored information for all stakeholders is key to improving and innovating the industry. One platform that empowers all disciplines to add their value and minimizing double work or other wasteful tasks.
At BIMstudio we have a developed a unique approach for the Low-Rise Residential Industry. A one-stop-shop that shortens time to market, increases customer value and minimizes change orders on site. We bring BIM from early design all the to lot specific construction manuals. We developed our own BIMhub solution that open the 3D models up to all users in the process. From designers & engineers to sales and from procurement to site specialists.
I am super proud of what we have accomplished so far but am even more thrilled to keep going. Since we have only scratched the surface. There is still so much to be done to get our industry to where it can be.WHY ARE YOU A MEMBER OF TBIMC?
BIM is all about collaboration and information management. And an important part of that, is the network of like-minded people that are going in the same direction. Being able to meet with peers and hear new developments at the tBIMc events is a valuable way of expanding my network and give back where I can.
