WHY IS BIM IMPORTANT TO YOU?
BIM and Digital Services are the future of our industry. Reality capture and scan-to-BIM workflows enrich the BIM process and make it possible for us to better collaborate, and to be more efficient and accurate when creating BIM models. We are able to leverage the information and data we capture on site to create digital twins and offer tailored solutions for each client. Connecting digital twins to real world data through sensors and analytics enables optimization of asset performance, reduces construction costs, and improves safety. Through scan-to-BIM and digital twinning we are able to create more sustainable future. WHY ARE YOU A MEMBER OF TBIMC?
The Toronto BIM Community offers a network of professionals, events, and resources to develop BIM solutions, and supports their members in learning, mentorship and leading successful careers. Staying connected with the Toronto BIM Community helps gain perspective on BIM in Toronto, and insight into how we are overcoming BIM challenges faced in our Toronto community, and across Canada. As a BIM Coordinator at HH Angus, I work with our teams in Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver, and it is important to connect and collaborate in all our communities to continue to improve our BIM workflows and processes.
